Summer Boho Wedding

Central Oregon is an area of natural beauty. You can travel just a few hours and end up in forested areas with waterfalls, blue alpine lakes, and snowy mountains. As a wedding photographer based in Bend it is a delight being able to photograph weddings in such spectacular landscapes that surround Bend and other areas in Central Oregon.

Paige and Steven planned the perfect wedding weekend at Holiday Farm Resort in Blue River, Oregon. Not only is this venue tucked in the forest but the McKenzie River runs along the edge. This was the perfect wedding venue for Paige’s Central Oregon summer boho wedding.

A Few Wedding Details

Their friends & family were able to camp or stay in the cabins onsite. Being surrounded by the Willamette National Forest makes this the perfect location for a Central Oregon wedding. You’ll find an abundance of memorable activities, with hiking along the river or in the nearby Three Sisters Wilderness Area, fishing for trout in the famous McKenzie River, guided whitewater rafting trips, and enjoy a soak in the nearby Belknap Hot Springs.

The fern filled forest gave the perfect backdrop to all of the details Paige pieced together for the vision of her summer boho wedding. Paige’s friends and family decorated the ceremony and reception site with florals and tie dyed linens made by Paige.

The bridal bouquets were dried floral arrangements wrapped in macrame & with a geode. Extra dried flowers pieces were placed in her hair with a stunning sunstone headpiece. These details were perfect accessories to compliment her romantic wedding dress. Paige looked like a whimsical goddess as she walked through the forest barefoot to the alter.

After the ceremony everyone gathered to enjoy live music, yard games, and a bouncy house! Custom doughnuts were shared for dessert instead of a traditional cake.

“I love your Love” was heard throughout their ceremony, toast, and first dance! Their connection to each other could be felt throughout the day and set the vibe for an amazing celebration of their story. I have no doubt that Paige & Steven will live happily ever after.
